President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has announced 2025 as the Year of Community under the tagline “Hand in Hand”– a nationwide initiative that will run from January until December 2025.
The Year of Community aims to strengthen bonds within families and communities by preserving cultural heritage, fostering intergenerational connections, and creating inclusive spaces for collaboration and belonging. It invites everyone who calls the UAE home to contribute through community service, volunteerism, and impactful initiatives that promote shared responsibility and drive progress.
